 With over 20 years of experience in education and more than 7 years a senior leader, Mr King is dedicated to supporting young people in becoming the best versions of themselves. Passionate about coaching leadership, Mr King has consistently fostered environments where students and staff can thrive.

Notable achievements include leading a school of over 1,700 students to an Ofsted Outstanding rating for Behaviour and Attitudes in September 2023 and maintaining attendance levels above the national average for two consecutive years.

As a previous senior leader, Mr King brings extensive expertise across various areas, including behaviour management, attendance, safeguarding, restorative practices, pastoral care, staff development, strategic planning, and governors reporting. Additional leadership roles include being a CIC (Children in Care) lead, Wellbeing Lead, PSHE coordinator, coaching practice lead, and Educational Visits Coordinator. 

Mr King also excels in transition planning, curriculum audits, careers guidance, and fostering positive school culture through effective rewards systems.

Mr King is now committed to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed especially for those who struggle to manage in mainstream education and have mental barriers to attend school.
